The third volume of SGtOC  includes the following topics: chemistry of alkenes, dienes and alkynes, Wittig and related definition reactions, formation and reactions of acetals and thioacetals, synthetic applications of nucleophilic substitution at saturated carbon, chemistry of organometallic compounds including transition metals and redox reactions.
