About The Book:

The book entitled “Application of Calculus” is intended to serve as a text book for the Mathematics Honours students.

This book deals with those application of calculus which enable us to determine certain geometrical and physical entities like tangents, normals, centre of gravity, moment of inertia etc. This book covers whole syllabus of application of calculus prescribed by UGC under CBCS.

The main motive of writting this book is to present the subject matter in such a way that the student can understand and learn the subject through self study. Several examples with solutions are incorporated in this book to illustrate text and necessary concepts. As per requirements of students, Multiple Choice Questions are included at the end of each chapter.
